(一) 372. Evaṃ me sutaṃ –
如是我聞――
I have heard that
ekaṃ samayaṃ bhagavā kurūsu viharati kammāsadhammaṃ nāma kurūnaṃ nigamo. Tatra kho bhagavā bhikkhū āmantesi – “bhikkhavo”ti. “Bhaddante”ti [bhadanteti (sī. syā. pī.)] te bhikkhū bhagavato paccassosuṃ. Bhagavā etadavoca –
一時,世尊住俱盧國,名為調牛聚落之俱盧人市鎮。於其處,世尊告諸比丘曰:「比丘們!」彼等比丘應諾世尊:「世尊。」世尊如是曰:
on one occasion the Blessed One was staying in the Kuru country. Now there is a town of the Kurus called Kammasadhamma. There the Blessed One addressed the monks, "Monks."
"Lord," the monks replied.
