第二節 正念正知 Satisampajaññaṃ (Mindfulness & Alertness)
☆ 佛遺教經 ➾ 心之可畏,甚於毒蛇、惡獸、怨賊、大火越逸,未足喻也。譬如有人,手執蜜器,動轉輕躁,但觀於蜜,不見深阬。
(六十五) 214. “Kathañca, mahārāja, bhikkhu satisampajaññena samannāgato hoti?
大王!又如何比丘具足正念、正知耶?
"And how is a monk possessed of mindfulness and alertness?
1. 行往歸來
Idha, mahārāja, bhikkhu abhikkante paṭikkante sampajānakārī hoti,
大王!茲有比丘於前往、於返回,以具正知;
When going forward and returning, he acts with alertness.
2. 瞻前顧後
ālokite vilokite sampajānakārī hoti,
於瞻前、於顧後,具正知;
When looking toward and looking away...
3. 屈伸手足
samiñjite pasārite sampajānakārī hoti,
又屈伸手足時,具正知;
when bending and extending his limbs...
4. 搭衣持缽
saṅghāṭipattacīvaradhāraṇe sampajānakārī hoti,
持下衣、上衣及缽時,具正知;
when carrying his outer cloak, his upper robe, and his bowl...
5. 飲食嚐味
asite pīte khāyite sāyite sampajānakārī hoti,
飲食嘗味時,具正知;
when eating, drinking, chewing, and tasting...
6. 大小便溺
uccāra passāva kamme sampajānakārī hoti,
大、小便時,亦具正知;
when urinating and defecating...
7. 行住坐臥
gate ṭhite nisinne sutte
行、住、坐、臥時,
when walking, standing, sitting, falling asleep,
8. 覺醒語默
jāgarite bhāsite tuṇhībhāve sampajānakārī hoti.
覺醒時,語時,默時,皆具正知。
waking up, talking, and remaining silent, he acts with alertness.
Evaṃ kho, mahārāja, bhikkhu satisampajaññena samannāgato hoti.
大王!如是比丘具足正念、正知。
This is how a monk is possessed of mindfulness and alertness.
